Another Advance Thermal Corp. first is the introduction of the ATC INDI-FIRST COVER. The covers are used on fittings and equipment and designed to quickly alert the maintenance personnel if a flange leak occurs, helping prevent accidents and costly down time repairs. The covers are manufactured using an ALL INDICATOR bright orange material, which changes color when leaded upon from the inside or outside. The color it changes to depends on the type of acid or chemical it is exposed to. The color change occurs within minutes of impact. The closure is also made from a chemically resistant material, allowing the complete cover to stay on a fitting without degrading until the maintenance personnel can get to it, repair the leak and replace the cover. Covers are available for all flange sizes and a variety of flanged valves and process equipment.
